Tristan Bushman is the 18-year-old singer from Ashton, Illinois who’s auditioning on the fifteenth and final season of American Idol. The Ashton-Franklin Center High School graduate travels to San Francisco to audition in front of celeb judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. No matter what happens, whether Bushman gets a Golden Ticket or not, he will continue making music.
Tristan Bushman says his musical inspiration is his father “who has been playing in bands for as long as I can remember. I started getting up and singing with his band when I was 5 years old and haven’t slowed down since then.” Tristan recently released his first album Heartwood. The seven-song album includes original songs including “Girl You Done Me Wrong” (see video below). American Idol airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8pm on FOX.
