Palo Alto husband-and-wife team Dave and Ann Crady Weiss are pitching their product Hatch Baby on Shark Tank. It’s a smart changing pad that keeps tabs on infants. It measures a baby’s weight, tracks how often the baby sleeps, eats, and poops via the Hatch Baby app. The app compares an infant’s data to the norms established by the World Health Organization, what most pediatricians use to chart a baby’s growth. With the app, Hatch Baby parents can export the data gathered to a pediatrician, lactation consultant, or extremely interested grandparents.
