Jay Kriner invented The Bev Buckle – a special belt buckle that can hold a can or bottle of beer. It solves the problem of setting your drink down at a bar and then losing it — and it gives a beer drinker the chance to use his hands freely when expressing himself. The Bev Beckle looks like a regular belt buckle but when folded down reveals a little shelf and copper ring for your bottle of beer. Kriner pitched the business on Shark Tank and made a deal with Barbara Corcoran but it didn’t go through.

There are a number of BevBuckles left for purchase on The Beer Buckle website and on Amazon (see above), but since 2015, the BevBuckle business and patent has been up for sale.
