On the NCIS episode “Spinning Wheel,” Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum) is attacked by a person who claims to have information about his half-brother. Ducky never mentioned that he had a brother to the team because his half-brother, Nicholas, died decades ago. While the team looks for Ducky’s attacker, Ducky has flashbacks of the final days he spent with his much younger sibling.
Nicholas Mallard is portrayed by child actor Andy Walken. Young Ducky is portrayed by Adam Campbell. The 35-year-old actor was born in Bath, Somerset, England. Americans will recognize him from his roles on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Logan Beekman), The Comedians (Connor Tate), 2 Broke Girls (Graham), Parenthood (Arty Party) and from the films The Five-Year Engagement (Gideon), Hello Ladies: The Movie (Mike), and Date Movie (Grant Funkyerdoder). Fun fact about Campbell: He’s married to actress Jayma Mays (Emma on Glee). NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
