On the Real Housewives of Atlanta episode “There’s No Business Like Friend Business,” Kandi Burruss and Demetria McKinney celebrate the premiere of their music video “Unnecessary Trouble.” At the Time Restaurant and Lounge in Atlanta, all the ladies gather to show their support and inevitably talk behind each other’s back. Kandi has an advantage at the event – her manager DonJuan Clark eavesdrops and then interjects when he hears people gossiping about “his people” — Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker.
DonJuan Clark has been a longtime friend of Kandi’s. He started out as a songwriter too but is now dedicated to promoting the career of Kandi. Through his company The Don Entertainment, he also manages Kandi’s make-up artist Latasha Wright (who also works with celebs LaLa Anthony and Kelly Rowland), and blogger Funkydineva. Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8pm on Bravo.
