In the TV movie Deadly Daycare, young mother Rachel (Kayla Ewell) goes back to work and leaves her four-year-old daughter Mia at a local daycare center. The center comes highly recommended and Rachel is reassured that she can check in anytime online — the center is loaded with cameras. One of the daycare workers, Gabby, recognizes Rachel from a car accident that happened years ago. It left her husband in a wheelchair. They lost their daughter. Now Gabby thinks Mia is — or should be — hers.
Gabby is portrayed by Christy Carlson Romano. She is best known as a child actor, for her role as Ren Stevens in the Disney series Even Stevens. (Her TV brother Louis Stevens was portrayed by Shia LaBeouf.) Since then Romano has provided the voice of several characters on animated series including Kim Possible, and she’s written a young adult novel, Grace’s Turn. Deadly Daycare will air on LMN on December 26 at 8pm.
