In the TV movie A Christmas Reunion, New York City advertising executive Amy Stone (Denise Richards) just got promoted to junior partner. Her career comes to a halt — “in the middle of crisis mode” as her boss Don (Parker Stevenson) says — when she gets called home. Her beloved Aunt Linda has died and left Amy and Amy’s ex-boyfriend Jack (Patrick Muldoon) her entire estate. Oh, and Aunt Linda’s last wish was for the former couple to work together to present the 50th Annual Christmas Cookie Contest. Aunt Linda ran a bakery.

Aunt Linda is portrayed by Catherine Hicks. She got her big break in the soap opera Ryan’s Hope (Dr. Faith Coleridge). Hicks went on to star in other TV shows including The Bad News Bears (Dr. Emily Rappant) and 7th Heaven (mom/wife Annie Camden). Hicks is also recognized for her roles in the 1980s films Peggy Sue Got Married (Carol Heath), Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (Dr. Gillian Taylor), Child’s Play (Karen Barclay), and The Razor’s Edge (Isabel Bradley). Fun fact about Hicks: She’s married to special effects makeup artist Kevin Yagher – they met on the set of Child’s Play. They’ve been married for 25 years. A Christmas Reunion will premiere on ION on December 13 at 9pm.
