Serena Williams is basking in new limelight after her marvelous (almost) calendar year Grand Slam season. Serena was chosen as Sports Illustrated’s Sportsperson of the Year — and she not only posed for some glamorous shots, she also contributed to the art direction. But something’s got Serena upset, and fans are worried. Serena is famously best buds with Caroline Wozniacki and the two seem to be having a public spat on Twitter.
To make matters worse — or at least more intriguing — it’s a cryptic back-and-forth, with no telltale sign of the origin. Whatever it is, Serena went all six-frown-emoji on Caro, with the mysterious text.
Really @CaroWozniacki ? ??????

Which has fans asking what did I miss? and telling Serena not to let any negative energy spoil her moment. All Wozniacki seems to have done was congratulate Serena (see below) on her SI honor and cover. It seems Wozniacki is in the dark too. Wondering what’s the problem when “I’m just being a good friend.”
Haha what?? I am being a good friend!! YOLO as they say ? https://t.co/CQMwID4hZn — Caroline Wozniacki (@CaroWozniacki) December 15, 2015
