George was named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for November as the Pacers surged to 12-6 after a rocky start. George averaged 27.2 points per game in November. He’s averaging 26.5 on the season, shooting his highest percentage from three and two since the 2010-11 season.
George’s ballistics received less national attention than they might due to the performance of Western Conference Player of the Month — guess who? — Steph Curry. Curry led his undefeated defending champion Warriors with 31.6 ppg during November, raining threes down from all over the place. He made 77 threes during the month.
