On the American Horror Story: Hotel episode “She Wants Revenge,” while Countess (Lady Gaga) reunites with her true love, Donovan (Matt Bomer) and Ramona (Angela Bassett) plot another stabbing stage of revenge. Even with all that drama, AHS fans can’t stop talking about the possibility of AHS actress Jessica Lange returning to the show even though Lange chose not to appear in this season. Lange is rehearsing for the upcoming revival of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey into Night with Michael Shannon, John Gallagher Jr., and Gabriel Byrne, at the American Airlines Theatre (opening April 2016).

On the AHS Offical Facebook page: Murillo Regalado writes: “I hope the real plot twist is Jessica Lange kills her as Fiona. I know that’s too much wishful thinking but I wouldn’t mind if it’s just Jess playing a new character tbh. *lights prayer candle.” Gary Knutson replies, “I like your thinking!..gawd I miss Jessica Lange; I hope there is a huge surprise for all of us Jess fans!” They are not in denial – they know “Fiona died (for good) at the end of Coven…but as George Hutto writes: “she could come back as Constance from Murder House,” which was set in 2011. American Horror Story airs Wednesdays at 10pm on FX.
