On the Major Crimes episode “Reality Check,” the team investigates a murder that happened on the set of a reality TV show. The stars of the show are dysfunctional married couples who compete against each other. The deadly incident forces Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) to relive some painful memories of his late wife while Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin) meets with the attorney of homeless man-turned-killer Slider (Garrett Coffey).
Slider’s attorney is portrayed by Greg Rikaart. The New York City native has appeared on several shows including CSI: Miami, Bones, Felicity, and Gilmore Girls. Rikaart is best known for his roles as Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless and as David on Dawson’s Creek. P.S. In May 2015, he and actor/writer Robert Sudduth (Red Band Society, The Crazy Ones, The New Normal, GCB) got married. Major Crimes airs Mondays at 9pm on TNT.
