In the Castle episode “Cool Boys,” crime solving writer Castle (Nathan Fillion) gets a visit from his “old pal,” Detective Slaughter. He’s the one who almost got Castle killed…six times. Slaughter comes knocking on his door, asking help Castle for help solving a robbery case. But things turn when Slaughter becomes a suspect in not just the robbery but a related murder, too. It’s up to Castle to figure out if Slaughter is guilty or innocent.
Detective Slaughter is portrayed by Adam Baldwin. He’s best known for his roles in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket (Animal Mother) and Independence Day (Major Mitchell). Baldwin is also recognized for his roles on the TV shows The Last Ship (Mike Slattery), Law & Order: SVU and Leverage as Captain Steven Harris, and Chuck (John Casey). Castle airs Mondays at 10pm on ABC.
