In the Sleepy Hollow episode “This Red Lady From Caribee,” while Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) tries to give Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) some career advice, Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) unleashes a monster that haunts the residents of Sleepy Hollow. The good news is: the monster only comes out at night. A man named Atticus Evans is involved.
[Betty White Leaves Sweet Note For ‘Bones’ Cast]
Atticus Evans is portrayed by Bill Irwin. As a professional clown, Irwin is best known as Mr. Noodle from Sesame Street’s Elmo’s World. On Broadway, he’s best known for his Tony Award-winning role as George in Edward Albee’s “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolfe”. On film he’s known for Popeye (Ham Gravy), Eight Men Out (Eddie Collins), My Blue Heaven, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Rachel Getting Married, among others. On TV, you’ve recently seen him in recurring roles on Law & Order: SVU (Dr. Peter Lindstrom), Blue Bloods (Cardinal Brennan), and CSI (Nate Haskell). And if you need another trigger: he and Robin Williams were featured in Bobby McFerrin’s 1988 music video, “Don’t Worry Be Happy” (see below). Sleepy Hollow airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX, right after Bones.
