Toya Wright On ‘Untying the Knot’ Is Lil Wayne’s Ex-Wife

On Untying the Knot, married couple Mickey and Toya Wright seek the advice of divorce diva Vikki Ziegler. Mickey doesn’t want to divorce but Toya doesn’t want to live like a married woman when Mickey is living the life of a single man. Mickey says he doesn’t cheat beyond the 8-day pass he gets from Toya to do whatever he wants, no questions asked. (You read that right.)

So who is this 32-year-old woman who gives her husband a sex pass? Toya, born Antonia Johnson, is the ex-wife of rapper Lil Wayne. At the age of 12 she met the rapper (born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr) in New Orleans. At 15, she had his baby, a daughter named Reginae “Nae” Carter. They married in 2004 but separated almost two years later. Antonia Carter wrote a memoir, Priceless Inspirations, and then in 2009, she and her friend Tameka “Tiny” Harris starred in the reality show Tiny & Toya on BET. In 2011, Toya married former Arista Records A&R exec Mickey “Memphitz” Wright. But in February 2015, she announced that they were separated after almost four years of marriage. Untying the Knot airs Sundays at 10pm on Bravo.
