On Couples Therapy, during a group sessions, Dr. Jenn asks the celebrities and their partners “who wears the pants in your relationship?” She directs the questions first to Mob Wives star Angela “Big Ang” Raiola and her husband of almost two years, Neil Murphy. Without hesitation, Neil says, “I let her have power from the get-go.” That said, Neil also admits that if he had been a big more aggressive from the beginning, “she probably would have liked that.” Ang agrees. “Every other relationship I was in, wasn’t like this. They were the men. They treated me like I was supposed to be treated. This never happened.”

Big Ang accuses Neil of being lazy. He says: “If she were nicer to me, I’d take more pleasure in doing things for her.” Very calmly, Big Ang says she’s going to “kill him with kindness.” Neil says he’s been seeing a difference in Big Ang in the past few days. Is that change in attitude to be trusted? Couples Therapy airs Wednesdays at 10pm on VH1.
