On The Amazing Race 27, the teams travel to France. They’ll fly in an old, open cockpit biplane over the French countryside. And on land, at the Detour, they’ll face either the scrutiny of French chefs at a fancy restaurant while they try to cook an elaborate meal, or be given the challenge of performing a rap song in French.
The chefs work at the gorgeous, Art Deco French restaurant La Coupole. The rapper is Passi, a popular French Congolese artist. He became famous in the 1990s with the group Ministère AMER. Fun fact about Passi: He’s known in the States for his song “Il fait chaud” (“It’s hot”) which was featured in the last episode of Sex and the City. Think Passi will be impressed with Justin and Diana’s groove? The Amazing Race airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
