The ten remaining teams on The Amazing Race 27 are in Buenos Aires. In the city, teams including Denise and James Earl and Ernest and Jin must collect as much cardboard as they can. Then they must learn how to tango with a gravity-defying twist. And then, they’re led to the church where Pope Francis was baptized as a baby — the Church of San Carlos and Maria Auxiliadora (translated the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians and San Carlos). It was built between 1900 and 1910.
The pope was born in Argentina in 1936 as Jorge Mario Bergoglio. His father immigrated to Argentina from Italy. Jorge is one of five children. No word on if the Pope is a fan of Amazing Race 27. The Amazing Race 27 airs Fridays at 8pm on CBS.
