Andy Erickson is one of the five finalists on Last Comic Standing. The other four are: Ian Bagg, Dominique, Clayton English, and Michael Palascak. What sets Erickson apart from the others is her ability to “intertwine silly one liners with whimsical stories in a playful but thought provoking way.”

While Andy doesn’t have any jokes about Marfan Syndrome in her act, she does write about her heart condition on her blog. It’s a connective tissue disorder. She’s had many surgeries including heart and back surgery. She wasn’t allowed to play sports as a kid. “I’ve never felt normal, because I’m not,” she writes. They say laughter is the best medicine. Last Comic Standing will announce the winner of Season 9 on September 9 at 10pm on NBC.
