Australian actress Essie Davis is best known for her role as Maggie in the Matrix movies. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that she will appear on HBO’s Game of Thrones. In the sixth season, she will portray a member of a traveling theater group who stages a parody play about the royal family. In the play, Davis’ rum-drinking character plays Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

It would be hilarious if the parody play included Davis playing Cersei’s body double. Remember, at the end of the Game of Thrones‘ fifth season, Heady’s body double, Rebecca Van Cleave, performed the nude walk of shame through the streets of King’s Landing as penance. But that would be too surreal, right? Game of Thrones will return in 2016.
