On the new reality game show A Wicked Offer, couples in need of extra cash are presented with “a series of Faustian bargains.” They must decide to either complete a scandalous, controversial task involving their friends and families and co-workers or walk away from “free” money. Every time a couple completes a task, the stakes and cash value go up.
The host of A Wicked Offer is legal analyst Matthew J. O’Connor. He’s a real personal injury lawyer in Kansas City who also happens to be an actor. On TV he’s provided commentary and analysis on a number of cases including the Duke lacrosse case and Lindsay Lohan’s run-ins with the law. O’Connor earned his law degree at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1993. A Wicked Offer premieres August 5 at 9pm on CW.
