An unofficial Twitter account run by @callumj is doing a service to Beats 1 listeners — and finding some followers. Callum Jones, a web app developer with only about a thousand Twitter followers himself, calls the Beats 1 Plays a “side project” but it’s already got about three followers (4,400+) for every tweet so far.
That ratio keeps up as the Beats 1, so to speak, goes on — Beats 1 Plays could be a player itself. There’s something cool about the info coming from outside Apple and Beats 1 itself, just a fan sharing. It’s like “Beats 1 ft. callumj.”
