In the Season 5 premiere of Suits, executive assistant Donna Paulsen leaves Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) to work for Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman). Harvey doesn’t handle the change well. He actually swallows his pride for one quick moment when he approaches Donna for a favor. She stays strong and says, “I’m sorry but you’re on your own.” Think they’ll be able to stay apart? Litt doesn’t think so, either.
Donna is portrayed by Sarah Rafferty. She’s also appeared on Law & Order, CSI: Miami, Without a Trace, Six Feet Under, The Practice, and Bones, among others. She tells a good story about how she was bit by the acting bug. “While in prep school, her drama teacher caught her cutting across his lawn in an effort not to be late for field hockey practice. He told her to skip practice and join the cast of Richard III. Thus began her adoration of acting.” Suits airs Wednesdays at 9pm on USA.
