There’s a new sheriff on Wayward Pines. After “something” took away Sheriff Pope (Terrence Howard), newcomer Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) is now in charge. Not everyone in town is happy about it, including Nurse Pam. But that doesn’t stop her from bringing Peter McCall (guest star Justin Kirk, Weeds) into the sheriff’s office. Peter was caught spraypainting a building with “subversive graffiti.”
Nurse Pam is portrayed by Melissa Leo. She’s best known for her roles in the films The Fighter, Prisoners, Oblivion, and most recently, The Equalizer with Denzel Washington. She’s also known for her TV roles on Treme (Toni Bernette), Homicide: Life on the Street, and All My Children (Linda Warner). Leo’s next big role will be in Oliver Stone’s Snowden (December 2015). She plays documentary filmmaker Laura Poitras (Citizenfour). Wayward Pines airs Thursdays at 9pm on Fox.
