The TV movie Perfect Match is about an engaged couple who can’t meet eye-to-eye on any of the wedding details. The mother of the groom hires a wedding planner (Danica McKellar, The Wedding Years) and an event planner (Paul Greener) who then fall in love, too. It’s an idiotic premise but McKellar is adorable and Linda Gray plays the mother of the groom.
Linda Gray is best known for her role as Sue Ellen on Dallas, the #1 show on television for 11 years. Since then, Gray has been spending a lot of time on stage. In the UK, she appeared in the original stage production of Terms of Endearment, in the West End production of The Graduate, and replaced Kathleen Turner as the seductress in the Broadway production of The Graduate. Perfect Match will air on the Hallmark Channel on June 20 at 9pm.
