The plot of Hallmark’s TV movie A Country Wedding isn’t anything new but the music is. Jesse Metcalfe plays a country-music star who’s about to get married to a Hollywood actress. Prior to the big day, he goes back home to sell the house he grew up in. There, in the small town, he reunites with his childhood friend Sarah (Autumn Reeser). Guess which girl he marries?

Metcalfe is best known as an actor for his roles on Dallas (Christopher Ewing) and Desperate Housewives (John Rowland). A Country Star is Metcalfe’s TV singing debut. He learned three songs on the guitar in addition to the script. A Country Wedding premieres June 27 at 9pm on Hallmark Channel.
