Let’s be brutally honest, Kristen Taekman isn’t the most intriguing cast member of this season’s Real Housewives of New York. Or last season, for that matter, which was her first. She tends to go with the flow. And when she has a complaint, she takes a few days to mull it over. (Boring!) Remember when Kristen was hysterically laughing and rubbing up against Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend John Mahdessian at a cocktail party — and then days later accused him of getting fresh with her? P.S. Kristen’s husband was standing right there, watching, and didn’t contest.

Now Kristen feels the need to pick a fight with Bethenny Frankel, the most intriguing woman on the show. Bethenny tells it likes she sees it and is willing to get right up in your face. But when Kristen works up the courage to confront Bethenny about calling her dumb, it’s laughable. (Kristen’s got a new nail polish line, but she hasn’t trademarked any of the colors. Carole Radziwill told Kristen that Bethenny said that business move was stupid.) Finally, Kristen tries to have it out with Bethenny. Bethenny just walks away. Can Kristen last?
