The Hellboy of Hellboy, actor Ron Perlman, wants three strikes before he’s out. The Hellboy franchise, a cult favorite about a well-meaning demon, was first given cinematic life by Guillermo del Toro in 2004. In 2008 del Toro and Perlman made Hellboy II: The Golden Army, which had a tougher time finding an audience, but was no less beloved by fans. A third installment stalled.

But Hellboy star Perlman, who isn’t lacking for work in any way, is still dead set — so to speak — on getting Hellboy III out there. He took to Twitter to fire up the base, see if the old devil has some life in it yet. Hellboy, hell yeah has been the predominant response to Perlman’s rallying cry to get Hellboy trending. #Hellboy
Anybody out there wanna see #HellboyIII as much as I do? Let’s get this muthafucka trending, y’all! Let’s end the trilogy; we earned it!
