Patrick Reed is a contender in the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay. He’s currently tied for third with Brian Campbell and Branden Grace. Reed’s spot on the leaderboard might have something to do with his new caddie, his brother-in-law, Kessler Karain. Before Kessler was on Reed’s bag, his wife Justine Karain Reed caddied for Reed. They did well together. Reed made it through Q-school in 2012 and then won in Greensboro, NC.
Justine quit when she became pregnant. They had a daughter who is homeschooled and travels with the Reeds. Kessler seems to be doing alright on Patrick’s bag. In January, with his brother-in-law as caddie, Reed posted his fourth PGA Tour win (Hyundai Tournament of Champions) and before the age of 25.
