WARNING: possible spoilers for Season 6 of Game of Thrones.
Fans of Game of Thrones are still recovering from the final episode of the fifth season, which included the shocking death of a certain magnificently-coiffed and much-beloved character. Since the season finale there has been intense debate online as to what HBO will do with the fantasy show’s sixth season – the show’s storyline has now caught up with George R.R. Martin’s novels in his A Song of Ice and Fire series – which goes into production soon. In April HBO was angered by a massive online leak of four episodes the day before the season premiere; today they must be fuming once again at news of a leaked script and audition video. According to the Express, a video of actress Tehmina Sunny auditioning for the show surfaced online before being removed.
Sunny was reading for the part of Kinvara, another devotee of the Lord of Light, in a scene set in Mereen with Tyrion and Varys. “Tyrion is asking Kinvara for help to convince the people of Meereen that Dany is their queen and to obey her order while she is away,” reports the Express. “In response she says that it is actually Daenerys who is the one that will save the world from the ‘darkness’ when the great war comes. Presumably, she is referring to the one with the white walkers and mankind that is very real in the North.” Although the video was removed from the Internet, fan site Watchers on the Wall transcribed the script. “We do believe these are real audition sides on the video, with dialogue that could well be a part of season 6, much like how the Sand Snakes’s leaked audition scripts last year turned out to all be a part of the show,” writes Watchers on the Wall.
