Sophia Allen — a smart, studious high school student — is the protagonist of Lifetime’s movie The Wrong Girl. When Sophia befriends the new girl in school, Michelle, her parents are happy for Sophia. They think their promising pianist has been spending too time alone. But then Michelle starts showing signs of being possessive. “Then, when she tries to destroy Sophia’s family and seduce her would-be boyfriend, Sophia can’t help but wonder if she’s befriended the wrong girl.” Yes, Michelle has a secret past and there’s something not totally right with the would-be boyfriend too.
Sophia is portrayed by 18-year-old Sarah Grey. The 18-year-old actress has appeared in Almost Human, Bates Motel (Young Norma), and the film If I Stay with Chloe Grace Moretz. Michelle is portrayed by Kirsten Prout (Kyle XY, The Lying Game). The Wrong Girl premieres on Lifetime May 16 at 8pm. It will also air on May 12 at 12am and 4pm, and June 6 at 2pm.
