Just the Way You Are isn’t just a ballad written by Billy Joel. But the song will be featured in the TV movie of the same title on The Hallmark Channel. The protagonist is Jennie Wreitz, a professional matchmaker who arranges a blind date with her workaholic husband of 15 years, Ian. She’s desperate to see those sparks flying again. But is it too late?
Jennie is portrayed by Candace Cameron Bure. Ian is portrayed by Ty Olsson. He’s best known for his roles in films including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and X-Men 2. Or maybe you’ve seen him on TV in Battlestar Galactica (Captain Aaron Kelly), True Justice (Castillo) or Supernatural (Benny). Just The Way You Are will premiere on Hallmark on May 9 at 9pm.
