Actor Wentworth Miller is returning to the TV series The Flash as Captain Cold. Miller is best known for his role as Michael Scofield on Prison Break. But since that show ended in 2009, Miller hasn’t been in the limelight much. He said “he’s relieved” not to have a lead role in The Flash as he had on Prison Break. Miller said that after PB: “It was important for me to recharge and regroup and writing offered me the opportunity to be my own master.”
For the past five years, Miller’s been writing screenplays including the 2013 mystery/thriller film Stoker with Nicole Kidman. His next screenplay, The Disappointments Room, stars Kate Beckinsale and will be released in September 2015. The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CW.
