Pop singer MK Nobilette finished in tenth place on American Idol’s thirteenth season. She’s known as the first openly gay female to compete in the finals on Idol. Due to illness, Nobilette wasn’t able to perform in the 2014 finale. However, later that year, Nobilette signed a record deal with Velvet Rhythm Entertainment in her hometown of San Francisco.
