Or more Wayward, depending on how you look at it…
Everyone knows Matt Dillon. The handsome 51-year-old actor started his career as a teen in classic films including Little Darlings, My Bodyguard, Rumble Fish and The Outsiders. As an adult Dillon starred in Drugstore Cowboy, Singles, There’s Something About Mary and got an Oscar nomination for his role as a racist police officer in Crash.
Now Dillon is on TV. In Fox’s new thriller series Wayward Pines, he plays Ethan Burke, a Secret Service agent who searches for two missing colleagues in a strange town that he can’t seem to escape from. But what’s stranger than that premise is the fact that Dillon has less than 3,000 people following him on Twitter! He hasn’t been on Twitter for long, and it looks like he’s getting the hang of it. He’s tweeting less often about Syria and ISIS and posting more photos from the set of Wayward Pines, which premieres on Fox, May 14 at 9pm. P.S. The show is based on the novel Pines by Blake Crouch.
