Chinese-born action film star Jackie Chan has opened the doors of the Film and Television Academy in Wuhan, China. He will serve as the college’s dean. He’s fulfilling his dream to teach locals the skills needed to work in the film and television industries. In China, “movies usually employ foreign crews and directors.”
According to Yahoo! News: “Jackie also invited friends such as Zhang Guoli, Xu Fan, Li Bingbing, and Feng Xiaogang to become the visiting professors of his new school, adding that in the future, he will also employ more professional film workers to teach students not only in classes but also on set and exchange programs with foreign academies as well.”
