The Golden State Warriors just made it to the NBA Western Conference Finals after having the best record in the league all season. The Warriors last made the conference finals in 1976, when even current head coach Steve Kerr was only eleven. Warriors star Steph Curry’s father Dell hadn’t even played his first NBA game when the Warriors last made it this far. (Dell Curry was 12, and played in his first NBA game ten years later in 1986.)
Here are the Warriors players that last had the Bay Area looking at a potential finals birth. (The lost to the Phoenix Suns, alas.)
