The new horror movie Unfriended opens with a pretty girl named Blaire having an online chat with her boyfriend Matt and their circle of friends. And then someone who has hacked into the Skype account of their dead friend Laura joins in and threatens/tortures them all. Laura killed herself after a graphic video of her was posted on the Internet. She got drunk at party and, it appears, gang raped.
Blair is portrayed by Shelley Hennig. The 28-year-old actress is best known for her roles as Malia Tate on the TV series Teen Wolf, and Stephanie Johnson on Days of Our Lives. Hennig is also an advocate against underage drinking. Her older brother Brad Joseph Hennig (born 1983) died in a drunk-driving incident in Destrehan, Louisiana in 2001. He was 18. A passenger in his car, a 17 year-old girl, was also killed.
