Seventeen-year-old Taylor is the protagonist of Lifetime’s new movie, Text to Kill. High school hasn’t been easy for Taylor. Her father died in a controversial drunk driving accident and her mother is a cop who’s struggling to raise Taylor on her own. Things take a turn for the worse when Taylor gets a chat request on her computer and a litany of ominous messages from a user who goes by “TRUTH&LIES.” Text to Kill is the 1997 slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer meets the 2015 thriller Unfriended.
Taylor is portrayed by Canadian actress Emily Tennant. The 24-year-old blonde is best known in America for her roles as Tasha (the werewolf) in Supernatural, and as Heather in the Christian Slater movie Way of the Wicked (he plays a priest!). Text To Kill premieres on Lifetime on April 11 at 8pm.
