Cruz is portrayed by actress Ana de la Reguera. She is best known for her roles in Mexican telenovelas (Tentaciones, Cara o Cruz). She got her big American break via TV commercials for Kahlua liqueur. The Kahlua coup led to a multimillion dollar contract with CoverGirl and a role in the HBO TV series Eastbound & Down (she played Vida, Kenny Powers’ love interest). de la Reguera is currently working on a TV series called Narcos about the criminal exploits of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
