Who Is Malcolm Danvers on ‘Bitten’?

Malcolm Danvers is the father of Jeremy Danvers on Bitten, the Canadian TV show based on the Women of the Otherworld series of books by Kelley Armstrong. Malcolm is a killer werewolf. He killed Jeremy’s (Josef Marsten) mother and his grandmother. Malcolm didn’t care for Jeremy either but luckily for him, Malcolm didn’t stick around. For years, Jeremy thought Malcolm was dead. Wrong! Malcolm has appeared as James Williams, the mysterious benefactor behind the uprising. In the Season 2 premiere of Bitten (April 17, 9pm on Syfy), Malcolm’s adopted grandson Clayton Danvers and his ex/current girlfriend Elena Michaels finally capture him.

Malcolm Danvers is portrayed by James McGowan. The Canadian actor is best known for his roles in Canadian TV shows including Republic of Doyle, Bomb Girls and Claddagh. He also appeared in American films including Total Recall with Colin Farrell and The Perfect Man with Hilary Duff, and The Prince and Me with Julia Stiles.
