NBC is getting ready for its three-show crossover event between its hit crime shows Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Law & Order: SVU. At the heart of the crossover episodes (April 28 and 29) is a charismatic doctor named Greg Yates. He becomes the prime suspect in a string of brutal rapes/murders in Chicago, which reminds SVU’s Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) of an old unsolved case in New York. She flies to Chicago to help catch the bad guy.
Greg Yates is portrayed by actor Dallas Roberts. He’s best known for his roles on The Walking Dead (Milton Mamet), The Good Wife (Alicia Florrick’s brother Owen), and The L Word (Angus Partridge). He also had roles in the Oscar nominated films Dallas Buyers Club, 3:10 to Yuma, and Walk the Line. The Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and SVU crossover airs Tuesday at 10pm and Wednesday at 9pm on NBC.
