They don’t look real when you first see them. In our age of easy CGI it looks at first like someone is just messing with you. But this is no jack-a-lope: these giant rabbits are real. And almost 4-feet-tall. (Or if these bunnies aren’t legit, there ARE darn big bunnies.)
Raising giant continental rabbits is pretty much the same as raising regular-size rabbits–if you have the room, the money and the food. Since giant carrots aren’t an option, they eat a lot more of the regulation carrots–about 2,000 a year. Plus nearly half that in apples, according to the Huffpost, which takes the story as legit.
