Four years ago, Marie Carlson, a 37-year-old mother of two, mysteriously disappeared from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Cold Justice reports that “three days after her disappearance several people received a cryptic group text message from her but never heard from her again.” She wrote in the text messages that she was leaving the area “to do something she always wanted to do.”
Her car was found near the airport. According to NFW Daily News, “Authorities determined that Marie did not leave the area by plane or by a vehicle rented at the airport and she did not leave the U.S.” Her body has not yet been discovered.
