Google employees enjoy a lot of great benefits. Free food, flexible work schedules–Lady Gaga stops by once in a while to chat. In fact, when it’s not allegedly colluding with other Silicon Valley tech companies to keep employee salaries down, Google is an awesome place to work.
But what’s really great is if you die there. According to CNN/Money if you die while employed at Google, “your family gets a death benefit. All your stock immediately vests, your spouse can collect half your salary for 10 years, and your kids get $1,000 a month.” If you’re going to work yourself to death, as people in tech are always complaining about, Google is definitely the place to do it.
