Tom Sanetti of Huntington Beach, California was trying to find a useful way to reuse the waste paper that arrived in his mailbox everyday when he created Earthlog. Earthlog fire logs are made of clean waste paper and refined, scrap candle wax. Not only do they smell good but they burn hotter than wood, and create up to 80% less smoke than regular logs.

With the help of Shark Tank investor Lori Greiner, Earthlog is expanding and rolling out its latest product, the Earthlog Citronella Log (for outdoor use only). Citronella oil is a natural insect repellent found in edible Lemon Grass. Both Earthlogs are sold in several stores including 7-Eleven and Albertsons, and on Amazon. A 3-pack of the regular scented Earthlog or the Citronella sells for about $20 on Amazon.
