A copycat killer known as the Trickster (aka Axel Walker) is setting off bombs in Central City on The Flash. In an effort to stop him, Barry and Joe seek help from the original Trickster, a criminal psychopath named James Jesse who’s been imprisoned for 20 years.
The copycat is portrayed by Devon Graye, who is best known for his role as the teenage Dexter Morgan in the TV series Dexter. The original Trickster is portrayed by Star Wars actor Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker). Hamill knows the character well. He played The Trickster in the live action TV series The Flash in the early 1990s. It’s a big year for Hamill. He’s reprising his Skywalker role, too, in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The 21 century version of The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CW.
