On The Blacklist, when Agent Keen is questioned in court as a suspect in the murder of the DC Harbormaster, “her unusual relationship with Red Reddington (James Spader) and their task force falls under scrutiny.” Meanwhile, Red tries to locate “The Major,” a dangerous former associate who is key in finding Tom and keeping Liz out of prison. Red turns to criminal underworld power-broker Bill “Bud” McCready for help.
McCready is portrayed by the intense, versatile actor Lance Henriksen. He’s played everything from clean-cut FBI agents to a psychotic motorcycle gang leader. The 74-year-old New York native is best known for his roles as the android Bishop in Aliens, Mercury astronaut Capt. Wally Schirra in The Right Stuff, and Chris Carter on the hit sci-fi TV show The X-Files. According to imdb, Henriksen dropped out of school and left home at the age 12. He served in the US Navy, and was illiterate until the age of 30, when he learned to read by studying movie scripts. The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9pm on NBC.
