Controversial ride-sharing juggernaut Uber has seen extraordinary growth in the last two years. Now the man who watched the money–and there has been a lot of it–is leaving his post. Brent Callinicos is resigning as CFO of Uber. Under Callinicos’ control Uber grew tenfold.
Besides Uber, Callinicos is a veteran of Microsoft and Google. He says he is stepping away to spend more time with his family. He’ll remain an advisor to the company. In his letter to the Uber team Callinicos writes, “I am especially thankful to be ending my career ride right here at UBER.” Sounds like Uber may be his last stop. But things happen… He’ll be wooed. Can he resist it?
