WWE champ John Cena and WWE Diva Nikki Bella have been a couple for a while. They live together now. It’s an exclusive relationship. On the reality TV show Total Divas, Cena has told Nikki, repeatedly, that he doesn’t want to get married and have kids. A dream Nikki has pursued. (She married her high school sweetheart at the age of 20; the marriage was annulled three years later.)
Nikki’s twin sister Brie thinks Cena should break up with Nikki because he can never give her want she really wants. On the show, recently, Nikki has been trying to convince herself (and John) that she no longer wants marriage and kids. But this week, while talking to the Houston Chronicle, she said, “I absolutely want to get married. I know that I’m spending the rest of my life with that man. And I want to spend it as husband and wife instead of partners. It’s been my dream since I was a little girl. I’ve always wanted to be someone’s wife and have children. I’m very old-fashioned.”
