Mexican professional wrestler Pedro Aguayo Ramirez, aka Hijo del Perro Aguayo, died from a hit in the ring on March 21, 2015. It was Aguayo and Manik against Extreme Tiger (Tigre Uno) and Rey Mysterio. Ramirez was hit in the neck by Mysterio (Oscar Gutierrez). Aguayo was taken to a nearby hospital. That’s where he died. The state prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into possible manslaughter.
Aguayo was 35 years old. He was the son of former wrestler Pedro “Perro” Aguayo, a lucha libre star in the 1970s-1990s.
